I had a lot of fun working Coachella this past year. I spent 12 days out in the desert and the group of people I worked with were great. We had a very unique perspective as we drove around in our golf carts on the access road behind the stages throughout the day. Behind main stage we were privy to watch Slick (Dizzizit) and his crew painting the big blow up pig for Roger Waters (Pink Floyd) headlining set. Ironically enough that same pig was cut loose and flew up into the desert sky at the end of what is being referred to as the overall highlight of Coachella in its glorious 9 year run. I just grabbed this video yesterday from the blog of URB Mag chief, Raymond Roker, thanks dude. Cant wait till next year!

That was one of the sickest things I’ve seen…in timelapse, no less. Props to the guys who blasted the pig, and of course, the photog who had to have taken 15 billion shots to complete that.

yes…epic moment…
so that pig flew off, then coachella offered 10k and lifetime tickets to coachella for whoever returned it…ended up in someone’s drive way…
