What used to Not be A Cornfield in Downtown has been transformed into our very own Los Angeles State Historic Park. Last Saturday, Project Sweatshop and Grassroots took advantage of the greens and produced the We The People Festival to commence a gathering of the minds who are eager for change. The 10 hour party was fueled by big-name hip hop, reggae and rock acts, as well as visual artists. All were focusing their attention on the state of affairs for the upcoming election, providing huge support for Barack Obama. Just to make sure the message didn’t go through without ability, Rock The Vote had a booth to make sure all in attendance were registered. Continuity!
