We hooked up with photographer Manon Manoeuvre aka Frenchy and asked her to tell us about her night with Don Rimini at the world famous Roxy on Sunset for Turkey Soup presented by Hard. Yes, the heavyweights that brought you Hard NYE, Hard Summer, and Hard Haunted Mansion. Don Rimini made his USA debut last Wednesday playing alongside Guns N Bombs , Destructo, Marshall Barnes, and up and comers, Good n Plenty. You can check out Frenchy’s blog Cookie Jar Times for the full set of flicks.

My Night At The Roxy
By Frenchy
We began the evening early with Don Rimini at his hotel watching family guy, eating cupcakes(They don’t have cupcakes in France!) and drinking redbull.
When our driver called we packed up our stuff and went down to the car in the rain. Tony (his assistant) was filming the whole ride and all I could think about was, “Wow I am heading to the famous Roxy Club, where Courtney Love and all these great bands have played!”
When we arrived we were rushed to the backstage for our wristbands and the soundcheck.
Once in the dressing rooms we had soo much fun, hung out with all the other djs, me all the while taking pictures and drinking redbull. The other djs were all great, my personal favorite was Marshall Barnes. Destructo tore it up and the Good And Plenty kids were just sooo cute it was hard not to love their set!
When Don went on stage the crowd went wild guys took off their shirts and girls screamed! I had a blast just snapping people getting their expressions and trying to capture the aura and vibe of this mythic club.
It was a 100 percent joy seeing that for his first time out in the USA, the crowd responding so well!
We stayed at the Roxy till it closed down and then back to the hotel where we had a pillow fight and had some more cupcakes.
