While we are on the topic of west coast Hip Hop, one of my favorite rappers hit me up today. Technicali have been doing it right for a minute. Ariano & LD linked up with LMNO of the Legendary Visionaries crew years back and have dropped straight up classic after classic with guest spots from some of hip hop’s most respected emcee’s. I used most of the stuff they would send me when I was a music supervisor for 10 Count (Fuel TV). The thing that I appreciate most about these guys is they are always humble and respectful. I used to go and chill at LD and Carlos’ crib down south a few years back and just vibe out with them, all around good peoples. I think for me, having been involved in the Los Angeles underground for a while now, I have been lucky enough to have worked with some amazing people. Many of these people are under exposed, so I think part of what we are trying to do with Media Contender is give some of these people their proper shine. These two are a prime example of that, you may not have heard of them, but now you have. Take note, they stand for something, and that will take them farther then any major record deal.
