I have a deep rooted love for Reggae music looking as far back as the 60′s for recordings from artists like Bob Marley, Toots and the Maytals, even Desmond Dekker and the Skatalites. It’s not often I find a new band I like as much as I like Rootz Underground. If you check Media Contender often then you might remember when we gave away their mixtape. It had a grip of downloads so we are pretty excited to be able to feature them again. Curious as to what they have been up to? Well, they have since decided to put out “Alive”, a live recording from the Reggae Train American Tour last year and are kindly letting us extend this musical blessing to you, our people.
