I think it’s great that more live acts are working their way to the forefront of Drum & Bass. There was a large gap between Breakbeat Era and Pendulum and I’m glad to see an insurgence of live acts like KJ Sawka, Awaking State and Greenlaw taking the stage and performing for the masses.

Two time nominees at the MTV DnB Awards for Best International Act and Best New Producers, Formation Records recordings artists Greenlaw put on a live electronic show like you have never seen.

Gracing the globe with the vocal soul of front woman Skyla J at gigs from Russia to Canada, Greenlaw represent a new direction for the UK based Drum & Bass label.

Greenlaw’s spectrum of sound goes from deep dub soul to phat blistering liquid DnB all the while Skyla J ‘s voice  flute and trumpet float effortlessly overtop. The lyrical content  and melody will transport you while the pounding beats and rich bass move you. Featuring Beatz by Greenlaw and some of the hottest producers World Wide, DjSS TesLa Rok, Unknown Factor and Influx UK to name a few.

Watch for their much anticipated debut album with Formation Records due for International release Spring 2009.
