Play Me Records is the brainchild of our girl Reid Speed and Mark Subsonik of Drum & Bass imprint, Subsonik Sound. The two first met through drum & bass but teamed up over a shared love of slick pop hooks, twisted drum programming and phat nasty subs. Now, they are proud to bring a battalion of fresh artists forth to slaughter turntables the world over, beginning with PLAY ME 001.

This first release features Canadian hipster phenoms Supercycle on the A with “The Dead Walk“, a sweet romp through a graveyard. It chugs with bone grinding bass and 80′s synth accents, complemented by angelic pads and plucky electro- guitar riffs.

The AA, “No Tomorrow“, comes live and direct from the city of angels’ After Midnight. Their unique brand of electro is heavy and synth driven, with just a touch of pop vocal styling to keep it sweet.

PLAY ME 001 is available June 1st worldwide via your favorite digital outlet. Cop that shit!
