MOTF is back again for it’s third installment. It happens once a month in a very cozy Downtown Los Angeles location and is put on by a group of veteran Los Angeles dj’s and promoters. Each boast an incredible resume of playing what are internationally known as the best parties in this city.

Take Haycock and his Do-Over parties for example, an old Hollywood tavern set discretely off Hollywood Blvd magically transforms itself on Sundays into the best day party i’ve ever been to. Some of the most respected dj’s in the world like Numark, Large Professor, Revolution, and Peanut Butter Wolf show up unannounced every week for free. They also have amazing BBQ and ALOT of Sangria, not bad right?

Then you have Mike B and his Sunday night party Banana Split with Steve Aoki and DJ AM. Dance music has exploded in Los Angeles and you can expect to see the biggest names at Banana Split on any given Sunday night. From Justice to MSTRKRFT and Atrak to Craze, I think Daft Punk even has even played there secretly once.

Tony K and Nate Day have done their share of contributing to the City of Angels thriving music scene. Tony helped create and develop a booming (pun intended) underground dubstep scene at the Higgins Gallery Speak Easy (R.I.P.) in Downtown. Pure Filth hosted a long list of London’s best artists from Skream to Benga, and Caspa to Rusko. Those parties in the summer of 2008 will be talked about for many many years.
Nate Day is a Philly transplant and in the last two years has found himself playing all the right parties from LA to OC and hosting favorites like Stretch Armstrong, LA Riots, and Cool Kids at his Loose parties.
Im talking about what I consider to be 4 of the best selectors in this city, and as stated before, they all have really big record collections, and impeccable taste in music.

We want this to be for the people that really love good dance music, we’re giving it to you in one night in an intimate, free form setting, no genre limitations, no security watching your every move, just pure vibes and cheap drinks!

So this time around the MOTF boys bring you EMYND. Based in Philly, he has made his mark by throwing uncompromising parties that attract a truly diverse audience made up of people from all ages, ethnicities, and income brackets. He has traveled extensively showcasing his talents and, most notably, makes up one third of Phillyâ€™s now-defunct legendary party â€œWhite Ts & White Belts,â€ boasting an impressive line up of performing guests from DJs like Diplo, Low Budget, Scottie B, and Blaqstarr to major rappers like Rocafella and Def Jam recording artists Freeway, Peedi Crakk, and Beanie Sigel.
