Often referred to as the leading group in American drum and bass, Evol Intent released it’s landmark LP “Era Of Diversion” to critical acclaim in the Spring of 2008, which explored more diverse musical styles as well as the usual DNB dancefloor smashers. The various members of Evol Intent also has other projects much of the blogger community should be used to: from Knick’s mash-up collaborations with Ewun (aka Kill The Noise) as “Ludachrist” to the Enemy’s electrofunk alter ego “Treasure Fingers” to Gigantor’s electro-fied waveform warping as “Computer Club.” In my humble opinion, these guys are modern musical geniuses, yea I said it.
“This is a remix that was originally integrated into our live laptop show, and we figured we would whip out a version for public consumption. We bring you our dubstep relick of Pitbull’s “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho).” This is a tune we heard constantly on the radio in LA and NYC, and we felt it would be fun to do a dubstep reinterpretation.”
