The Scion Dubstep parties at the Roxy in Los Angeles are quickly becoming legendary. The amount of kids that get exposed to bass music through these events has created such an influx in the scene in general that Dubstep has become the most talked about facet of the Los Angeles dance music scene. Incredible sound, exclusive appearances from the artists that are pioneering the music, and the thousand plus people that line up every month, all for FREE presented by Scion. Last Wednesday Plastician, Mary Anne Hobbs, Scuba, and LA’s bad boy 12th Planet had the Roxy more packed than I have ever seen it in all my years partying in Hollywood. Even Switch and Rusko came rolled through. I heard a rumor about the next Scion House Party in January and I think it might be the craziest one yet. So if you did not go to this party, check out the flicks and make sure your in line by 9pm, yes its like that.
