It’s cold in England, really cold. So when I saw the lineup for Fabric on the 18th I had to try and check it out for some musical heat and also catch up with John whilst he was over from LA! The only problem was the snow and lots of it, it meant roads were shut on my 45 minute drive down to London and getting off my drive was even troublesome. I decided to brave the trip and also ask my brother to borrow his D90 so I could try and shoot a short video as well as some photos. The night turned out to be a great success and the crowd were loving 12th Planets sounds! The only downfall was that the Fabric booth is small, the club was rammed (which is a good thing!) and while my car was defrosting I left my fisheye inside the house which is what I shoot my club photos with normally. So new lense to play with and a new location but that just made it that little more interesting! Big ups to the Dub Police crew and Fabric who put on a great night which I think everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Below is a little taster of what went down in the short video and some of the photos taken during Johns hour long set.
