Looking at the lineup for the last Dubtroit of the year, it was pretty much a given that the jam would be live. We weren’t disappointed as the venue was already busy by 10 pm. The creme-de-la-creme of Los Angeles and surrounding area Dubstep heads brought set after set of bass-fueled goodies to a packed dancefloor.
Around 12:30, the lights came up for the introduction of West Coast hip hop legend Ras Kass to perform “West Coast Dub” alongside hometown favorite 12th Planet. The venue set the stage for a video shoot and if you were one of the people up front going bananas, then chances are you will be reliving that moment pretty soon. Until then, here’s a gallery from Eiknarf.
Keep an eye on the Dubtroit brand this year. Lots in store for the free monthly in Costa Mesa..
