Out of Philly, a city that has produced a ton of quality music and producers such as Diplo, King Britt, Jazzy Jeff, and Viktor Duplaix, comes the launch of P5 Recordings and the first mix showcasing what they are all about. Introducing beasTmode, the alter ego of Mason of Gasm notoriety, presents Dubstep that meets on par with the heavy flavor this crew has brought to the world of Drum & Bass.

P5 Records was created by Philly newcomer Down Jones whos name you will defintely be hearing a lot more of. The first run of P5 releases debut on 12” and digital download from the likes of heavy hitters End Boss, Beastmode, Strange, and Down Jones himself. Dubs are out in the field already being caned by such notable artists as 6blocc, Joker, Noah D., Starkey and 12th Planet to name a few. The mix features work from some of our favorite artists like 12th Planet, Down Jones, B. Rich, Datsik, Joker and Kromestar to name a few. It also includes a tune that Danny and I pull a rewind on every time we hear it; White Christmas, produced by LA’s Origin with vocals by well known Philly MC Armanni Reign.
