Oscure has been one of the integral pioneers of the Los Angeles Underground Dance music scene, DJing, producing and remixing. He’s a well established Los Angeles International DJ/producer, and has licensed and released on his own label LABA Recordings and other record labels. Oscure established the Los Angeles Breakbeat Association in 1996 and has kept the Breakbeat scene alive, paving the way for many DJs alike. An experienced Audio Engineer with a Certification as Pro Tools Operator for Music and teaches Reason, Pro Tools, and Traktor Scratch at www.ReasonSchool.com. Andrew Hoeveler loves his memories of playing with a reel-to-reel tape deck, and a 1960s-era ARP. He is influenced by the dynamic forces at work in nature, time, sound and light, as well as the magical art of illusion. He started the motion design and animation company Ritual in 1999, and its live-event spinoff collective Orbit in 2006, and has been playing Minimal Dubstep and Techno to fresh Bassfaces and 2-Step lovers ever since.
