There is very little I don’t like about the high-spirited, bald-headed Brooklynite AC Slater. As a matter of fact, I find little other than admiration for the guy, and the entire Party Like Us crew. The label, dawned by the bass-bringing trifecta of AC Slater, Udachi, and B. Rich, has been consistently releasing fresh material for a little over two years now, and with over 20 releases under their belt I would say that is no small feat. As a fantastic platform with which to put out material on their own accord, Party Like Us is evidence of a thriving and healthy entity created by the artists, for the artists.

For those of you who have been following AC’s various musical expeditions, you know all too well about his frequent collaborations with Atlanta rapper Dell. AC’s clever production skills and Dell’s dynamic vocals are a welcomed combination. Their track “Right Now” has been circling around for quite a bit now (along with the goofy & dynamic music video) so it’s nice for it to finally see a proper release date.

Just today, the Right Now EP was released, which features the forementioned track, along with an instrumental version and a remix by Udachi. Udachi takes a well-structured dubstep take on the mix, with a grinding and high-energy build that remindes me, in a sense, of Nero’s production style. Udachi continues to pleasantly surprise me and this song proves no different. And we’ve got it free for you to download :)
